Epilobium angustifolium
Commonly known as: fireweed
Edible parts: young shoots, peeled steams, the root, and leaves. Candies, syrups, jellies and ice cream have been favorite treats using fireweed in some cultures.
High in Vitamin C and used as a medicinal application for boils and cuts.
As a tea it has been used to treat prostate, kidneys, and urinary tract issues.
