Marcus Whitman was a hard worker, devoted Christian, and loving husband during the 1800’s. He earned his Medical Degree at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, and became a  missionary doctor for the Native Americans with the help of Rev. Strong and the ABCFM (American Board of Commissions of Foreign Missions).
