Worms – A Poem by Christian Calhoun

Worms – A Poem by Christian Calhoun

Worms are gross

Red, Brown and pink.

There are many

Kinds of worms I think.

You can use them to fish,

Or for your farm.

They may be ugly,

But they have a charm.

They are part of the cycle

That runs this earth

Worms can be food

For moles and for birds.

They chew up the leaves

And rotten twigs.

They leave something to

Help our seeds grow big.

So if you encounter

A little worm on your way.

Try not to hurt it because

It helps things decay.
